This electric agitator for IBC tanks is designed to ensure the rapid, safe and homogeneous mixing of liquid or low-viscosity products stored in IBC-type containers. Suitable for occasional or short-term use, it is an ideal solution for resuspension, homogenisation or mixing maintenance operations prior to use or transfer.

Optimised mixing performance

Thanks to a 160 mm diameter propeller, driven at 700 rpm, the agitator generates an efficient hydraulic flow that allows the product to circulate evenly throughout the tank.

With a flow rate of 152 m³/hour and a hydraulic speed of 2.1 m/s, it guarantees uniform mixing, even for large volumes.

It is perfectly suited to products with:

• a viscosity of up to 2,000 cps

• a density of up to 1.5 kg/L

Reliable and secure motorisation

The agitator is equipped with a 230/400 V – 50 Hz three-phase electric motor, offering an installed power of 0.18 kW.

Its IP55 protection rating ensures excellent resistance to dust and water splashes, allowing it to be used in demanding industrial environments.

Mechanical forces are controlled:

• Axial force: 13 N

• Radial force: 6 N

This guarantees the equipment's longevity and optimal stability during operation.

Robust design compatible with IBC tanks

Designed for easy integration into standard tanks, the agitator features:

• a 900 mm shaft (standard), ideal for reaching the centre of the volume to be mixed

• a universal adapter, made of 304 L stainless steel (250x250 mm) for attaching the agitator to the 1000-litre IBC tank

The shaft and propeller assembly is made of 316L stainless steel, a material known for:

• its resistance to corrosion

• its compatibility with many chemicals

• its ease of cleaning

This agitator is recommended for short use of approximately 1 hour per day, making it ideal for occasional mixing, preparation or homogenisation operations prior to bottling. Points to consider before purchasing

• If the space above the tank is ≤ 282 mm, Axesspack recommends a compressed air motor (an electric motor requires more height).

• In aggressive environments, special coatings are required (agitation unit and gear motor).
