  • Layer 2: heating element
  • Layer 3: glass cloth
  • Layer 4: fibreglass insulation
  • Outer layer (black): heavy-duty waterproof nylon

Axesspack always gives you more: the thermostat limit peg included

This 2x1400 W heating jacket (0°C to 90°C) is supplied with:

Thermostat limit peg built into the heating jacket's thermostat

Thermostat limit peg

Choose your own thermostat maximum temperature! In your manufacturing process, you may need to cap the maximum temperature of a heating jacket for safety or product-quality reasons. Every Axesspack heating jacket thermostat includes a limit peg that lets you set the maximum operating temperature. A simple turn of the thermostat lets you move the limit peg to suit your needs.

Comparison chart of temperature rise for heating jackets 070317 and 070319 on a 1000 L IBC tank

This chart compares the temperature rise of the heating jackets in our range (references 070317 and 070319). For this test, the 1000 L tank is also fitted with an insulated lid. Temperatures are measured at the centre of a 1000 L tank filled with water to half height. Please note that almost all industrial fluids heat up significantly faster than water (see second chart).

This chart compares the temperature rise of the 070317 heating jacket with water or light oil. Temperatures are measured at the centre of a 1000 L tank filled to half height.
